Založba EMI bo 7. novembra izdala super deluxe box set skupine Whitesnake z naslovom Box O'Snakes: The Sunburst Years 1978 - 1982. Kolekcija na 11 diskih prinaša studijske in live albume, dva do sedaj še neobjavljena koncerta z BBCja, DVD, repliko Snakebite 7" EPja na belem vinilu ter 90-stransko knjigo z intervjuji in neobjavljenimi fotografijami. Pevec David Coverdale je po svojem odhodu iz Deep Purple izdal dva solo albuma, Whitesnake (1977) in Northwinds (1978), ki sta že nakazala smernice razvoja v kasnejšo skupino Whitesnake. Skupina je uradno nastala marca 1978, da bi promovirali album Northwinds, vendar so že junija posneli 7" EP Snakebite, ki mu je konec istega leta sledil še prvenec Trouble.
