Darkthrone predstavljata besedilni video za pesem The Bird People of Nordland z njunega že 21. albuma It Beckons Us All, ki ga bo danes izdala založba Peaceville Records.

Organizatorji dogodkov Hangtime Agency sporočajo, da je nedeljski koncert zasedb Grima in Ultar v zagrebškem klubu Močvara odpovedan. Odpovedana sta tudi koncerta v Beogradu in Novem Sadu ter tudi 40 drugih nastopov skupin po Evropi. Zapletlo se je namreč pri vizah. Izjava banda:

»Dear followers of the Grima cult, sometimes even the biggest and oldest spruce tree can't withstand (in)human acts. There is a point where we have to bow down and accept what cannot be changed.
After 4 months of non-stop efforts from everyone involved behind the scenes, the best we got is a 30 days stay in the Schengen area. We have applied for a 90 days arts science visa, which we have been granted in past years, but not this time, the reasons have not been communicated to us.
We did everything we could do, Asgaardian Events and even Les Acteurs de L'Ombre Productions helped us as much as possible, but all we got are these 30 days for now, which we shall use to the fullest.
Our first show will be on the April 25 in Switzerland and the last one will be on the May 22 in Paris. Any other show will be cancelled. There will be no further rescheduling. We will be happy to see each one of our cultists at these shows. We won't have any other Central European tours in the near future, except a few festivals next year, which we are already negotiating with.«

Nemški black/death metal band Mære je predvčerajšnjim objavil komad Traumlande (Ascending the Abyss). Gre za že tretji single s prvenca ...And The Universe Keeps Silent, ki ga bo v petek izdal pri založbi Transcending Obscurity Records.

Italijanski gotični metalci Inner Shrine so objavili videospot za Aita, prvi single in hkrati naslovni komad prihajajočega istoimenskega albuma. Album naj bi izšel še letos pri založbi Lands of Glory Records.

Norveški dvojec Darkthrone je objavil videospot za komad Black Dawn Affiliation s prihajajočega albuma It Beckons Us All, ki ga bo 26. aprila izdal pri založbi Peaceville Records. Album obsega te naslove:

Melodični black metalci Dargor so se odločili, da se bodo poklonili legendarni avstrijski zasedbi Summoning. V ta namen je band priredil komad Land of the Dead, ki ga v originalu najdete na albumu Oath Bound od Summoning, ki je izšel leta 2006.

Islandska zasedba Duft je v obliki videospota razkrila pesem Instant Gratification, ki jo lahko preverite spodaj. Gre za prvi komad s prihajajočega prvenca Altar Of Instant Gratification, ki naj bi nagovoril ljubitelje bandov, kot so Code Orange, Jesus Piece, Zulu, End, Slipknot, God Forbid in Cancer Bats.

Kanadski folk/black metal band SIG:AR:TYR po večletnem zatišju predstavlja svež material. Tukaj lahko prisluhnete novi skladbi Ascending the Stellar Throne s prihajajočega albuma Citadel of Stars, ki ga bo 31. maja izdala založba Hammerheart Records. Album obsega te naslove:

Ameriška doom metal zasedba The Obsessed iz Marylanda je objavila video za komad Stoned Back to the Bomb Age. Komad najdete na aktualnem albumu Gilded Sorrow, ki je izšel letos februarja.

Posebneži Sólstafir, ki smo jih lani skupaj z Amorphis ujeli v Zagrebu, se novembra in decembra odpravljajo na turnejo po Evropi. Z njimi se bodo na pot podali Helga in Hamferð. Med drugim boste lahko Islandce ujeli 6. decembra na Dunaju. Druge datume pa najdete na sliki.

Avstrijski gusarji Visions Of Atlantis napovedujejo izid albuma Pirates II – Armada. Ta naj bi izšel 5. julija pri založbi Napalm Records. Tracklista:

Novozelandski avantgardni tehnični death metalci Ulcerate bodo 14. junija pri založbi Debemur Morti Productions izdali sedmi studijski album Cutting the Throat of God. Za komad The Dawn is Hollow so posneli tudi video, ki si ga lahko ogledate spodaj.

Domači power metalci Space Unicorn On Fire že nekaj časa niso stopili na oder, saj so se posvetili ustvarjanju nove glasbe, ki jo fantje sicer v teh dneh snemajo pri The Kraken Productions v Studiu Urgenca in jo bodo premierno predstavili prav na našem odru. Ljubljančani pravijo takole: »Ključne besede so sence, preporod, prihodnost in gas. Oziroma Cellar Door, Island Rising in Ocean Drive. Samorog je našpičen in pripravljen na dir!«
