Pionirji death-doom metala My Dying Bride bodo 19. aprila pri Nuclear Blast izdali nov, že 15. studijski album A Mortal Binding. Ob najavi je zasedba predstavila tudi prvi single Thornwyck Hymn.

Ameriški death metalci Necrot bodo 12. aprila izdali naslednika svojega drugega albuma Mortal iz leta 2020. Ta bo nosil naslov Lifeless Birth, izšel pa bo na vinilu, CD-ju, kaseti in digitalno ter prinesel sedem komadov:

Nemška black 'n' roll zasedba MNHG je minuli četrtek premierno predstavila komad Fratricide, ki je del prihajajočega albuma Necare, ki izide 29. marca pri Immortal Frost Productions.

Progresivni death metal duet Iapetus sporoča, da je podpisal pogodbo z založbo Willowtip Records. Band je trenutno v fazi priprave materiala za tretji album, spodaj pa lahko preberete izjavo banda ob začetku sodelovanja z novo založbo:

Belgijski black metal band Bloedmaan je posnel videospot za komad Winged Flight Under the Pale Moon s prihajajočega debitantskega albuma Castle Inside the Eclipse.

Konec septembra smo že poročali, da bodo ameriški heavy/power metal veterani Riot V izdali nov album. Zdaj je znano, da bo ta nosil naslov Mean Streets, da bo izšel 16. februarja in da bo prinesel 12 novih klomadov:

V začetku meseca smo poročali, da so bili za češki festival Brutal Assault 2024 napovedani Satyricon. Konec prejšnjega tedna je organizator objavil nov paket nastopajočih, pri čemer je izpostavil black metal zasedbo Abbath, ki bo nastopila s komadi od Immortal.

Poleg tega so bili napovedani še: Triumpf Of Death, ki bodo igrali komade od Hellhammer, Tulus, Khold, Dødheimsgard (DHG), Ved Buens Ende, Darvaza, Primordial, Impaled Nazarene, Uada, Devil Master, Grand Magus.

Ameriški deathcorovci Immortal Disfigurement bodo 19. januarja prihodnje leto izdali prvenec z naslovom King. V ta namen so posneli nov video za komad Force-Fed, ki si ga lahko ogledate spodaj.

Islandski black metalci Nyrst bodo 8. decembra pri Dark Essence Records izdali svoj drugi album Völd. Na svoj račun naj bi prišli ljubitelji zasedb, kot so Immortal, Misþyrming, Sinmara, Almyrkvi, Auðn, Svartidauði, Mgla in Bathory. Tracklista:
